This project took a lot of twists and turns for me. I had two original ideas but the timing for filming with others fell through. Then I had this wonderful idea to film during a fun experience with my friend. I love how it came out because now we have this video to cherish for our friendship. We went to red rocks for a concert and wore matching dalmatian costumes. The beginning and end of us at the concert shows the journey a young 20 year old can have. You get on a party bus, you have fun and drink on the party bus. Then you get all excited because you made it into the concert and then you have a blast at the concert! Red rocks has this magical aura there that can transform you into another place. That is when we transform into a real dalmatian world. Then the animation is a fun light heart place where we explore as real dalmatians. Then we come out of it and we are back at the concert having fun and then go home and reflect on our journey of the night. It was so fun filming this and learning how to build a video. The animation part for me took a lot of trial and error, but by the end of it I got the hang of After Effects and it started to become fun. Then putting it all into Premiere was exciting, took longer than expected, but because there is just so much to explore on this platform!
